Went night before last night specifically to have the pork chop dish criticized in the review. Although I'd eaten at the Paragon a number of times in the past 6 months, I'd never tried this particular dish. With perhaps only one exception, everything I'd eaten previously had been well prepared and very tasty.
Last night the pork chop was outstanding. It was moist, flavorful, and cooked to a perfect medium. The greens were equally well prepared, and were tender without being limp. While the menu is limited and heavy on burgers and sandwiches (which are generally fantastic), I have now had all the entrees on the current menu and put the quality above a place like Blue Canyon and in the league of places like Fat Cats or the better gastropubs -- like Tremont Tap House.
While I usually find Mr. Trattner's reviews to be pretty accurate, this one is simply way off base.
