A Special Simulcast

Often criticized for not inducting the right bands, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum got it right with this year’s class of inductees. Special guests this year include: Chris Martin (who’ll induct Peter Gabriel), Glenn Frey (who’ll induct Linda Ronstadt); Michael Stipe (who’ll induct Nirvana); Questlove (who’ll induct Hall and Oates) and Tom Morello (who’ll induct Kiss). Peter Gabriel and Hall and Oates will perform. Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris and Sheryl Crow will perform a special tribute to Ronstadt. The inductions won’t air on HBO until Saturday, May 31, but tonight at the Rock Hall you can watch a live simulcast of the ceremony. Doors open at 7 and tickets are $23.70. (Niesel)
