Maid Myriad

Akron's own progressive post-hardcore trio Maid Myriad kicks off the massive six week the Woven In Haste Tour, at the Grog Shop tonight. Maid Myriad calls their fusion of post-progressive, alternative and pop, kaleidoscope rock, giving them a sound unlike anyone else and a characteristic that sets them apart from other bands in the scene. Back in October, the band released their debut album With Haste On Its Breath, which is “bursting with influences from a gamut of rock subgenres,” holding true to the band’s self-proclaimed kaleidoscope rock style. With a unique sound and the ambition to start off the tour on a high note, Maid Myriad will surely deliver a sound and show unlike you've ever seen. (Martin Harp)
