Boingo Oingo's Danny Elfman scored the 1989 film Batman, and tonight at 8 at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra under the direction of conductor Ludwig Wicki will play the score live while the movie screens. Though it's not a great piece of cinema, the film helped usher in a new era of superhero films. The program repeats at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Severance. Consult the orchestra website for ticket prices.
