Shaker Makers: American Furniture Icons

The Shaker Historical Society invites you to see our new exhibit Shaker Makers: American Furniture Icons from North Union. This exhibit will be on display now through July 3, 2016. Visit the museum to explore Shaker furniture and learn why their craftsmanship is celebrated. This exhibit brings to light many pieces of Shaker furniture that have not been on display in many years, and with it, new scholarship to identify particular traits of North Union furniture. The North Union settlement was originally located in what are today Shaker Heights and portions of Cleveland Heights.
