Summer in the City at Rock Hall

Fans of Queens of the Stone Age will like Coliseum, a group of heavy hitters that know how to handle their guitars. Songs such as "Doing Time," a driving tune from the band's new album Sister Faith, are every bit as intense as anything by stoner rockers QOTSA. The band can get atmospheric. too, and goes for something a little more nuanced on tunes such as "Love Under Will." Local hardcore heroes Above This Fire open tonight's free concert, part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Summer in the City series. Admission is free and the show starts at 7 p.m. (Jeff Niesel)
