The road to the White House is blazed through Cuyahoga County, and something tells us that the folks at the Republican National Committee understand this history, as Cleveland is considered a finalist for the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Even though we have a beautiful park system, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and a pretty cool casino, it’s the edible gems that make our city convention-worthy. So, as the Mayor and our city comprise a bid package, we suggest figuring out a way for the decision makers to try these 25 items that will no doubt secure the thumbs up for Cleveland.

  1. Because they have a lot of money to spend here and it brings attention to Cleveland? Heck, get the democrats here at the same time and have a big street brawl Anchorman-style. Now THAT would bring attention to Cleveland on a national scale.
