Next up for the prominent Detroit Shoreway building that recently was home to Battery Park Pub, Graffiti and Reddstone will be All Saints Public House, an “Old English style neighborhood pub with good food.”

Graffiti Social Kitchen closed its doors in the Battery Park neighborhood two years ago and in its place came the Battery Park Pub, a gluten-free pub with a steampunk vibe. After changing hands this summer, the pub closed its doors for good last month.

Spokesman Steven Macecevic says that following pretty significant renovations to the interior and exterior, which will bring a completely new look and feel to the property, All Saints will open in December.

“We’re excited about this new project,” he says. “This will be completely fresh. We really want to cater to the neighborhood. There’s so much going on, so many people there. I’m pretty excited to bring something valuable to it.”

  1. This location was high on Doug’s list of “cursed addresses” about a year ago…places that have seen at least four or five “restaurant concepts” come and go. There was this one in Battery Park, another one across from Lincoln Park in Tremont, and a third on Detroit in “downtown” Lakewood. One place after another opening and closing, with the same headlines and the same quotes from owners. Follwed by the same closing headlines. Rinse. Repeat. Maybe curses DO exist.

  2. Don’t forget what was once upon a time known as Tony’s…at Lorain and Rocky River…
Yet another cursed location…the West Side seems to be full of them.
