The inaugural issue of Ohio on Tap, a new publication devoted to Ohio craft beer and breweries, has just been released. A joint venture between the Ohio Craft Brewers Association and Great Lakes Publishing, the glossy publication is an indispensable guide for craft beer lovers.

“We are up to 99 breweries in Ohio, and there was no central directory or guide for people to take with them as they travel around the state to sample beers,” explains Mary MacDonald, Executive Director of Ohio Craft Brewers Association.

The magazine will officially launch in Athens on Friday, July 18 from 6-10 p.m. at Ohio Brew Week. “We thought that event was the perfect place to launch it because it is focused entirely on Ohio craft beer,” adds MacDonald.

Copies of the magazine will begin appearing at all Ohio breweries, at area CVBs, and locally at Heinen’s grocery stores. You can also read the guide online here.

“This is a great tool to promote Ohio craft beer and we can’t wait to get it in the hands of Ohio beer drinkers.”

The guide will be updated annually if not more frequently.
