“When considering a new location for Red Beachwood, we compiled a list of requirements and Pinecrest met our criteria,” says Red Restaurant Group CEO Brad Friedlander. “It combines location, a prestigious address and opportunities that we believe will enhance the Red, the Steakhouse experience.”
The original Red in Beachwood was later joined by other locations in Miami Beach, Florida, and downtown Cleveland. Plans also call for a 2016 Indianapolis opening. Red, the Steakhouse is part of Red Restaurant Group, which also operates Moxie.
“While we circled the Midwest for best in class steakhouses, we ultimately found our top choice right here in our own back yard,” says the developer. “We were really excited by Brad and Jonathan’s enthusiasm and ideas for this new space and believe it will set the high bar for the category. The new and much larger location will offer more gracious indoor and outdoor seating, a more engaging bar dynamic and will allow them to continue to build on the flawless execution and superb culinary experience their customers have come to enjoy. We are proud to include Red, the Steakhouse in our line up within this exciting mixed-use district.”

How much of Pinecrest consists of businesses just relocating from another part of the Beachwood area? Is this development really necessary in a region that isn’t growing in population??
