In the wake of the death of movie star Doris Day, who passed away this week at age 97, the Cedar Lee Theatre will screen her Oscar-nominated 1959 film Pillow Talk at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The romantic comedy focuses on an uptight interior decorator (Day) who struggles to connect with a carefree playboy (Rock Hudson) when the two share a telephone party line. But when the two meet in person, things change. The film features great performances by Tony Randall and Thelma Ritter, and Day sings the title theme and the song “Roly Poly.”

Tickets cost $6 and are available at the Cedar Lee Theatre or online at clevelandcinemas.com.

A portion of each admission will benefit House of Mews Cat Rescue, and House of Mews will be at the theater on Sunday with animals in need of homes.
