Every September, Cinema Wasteland invades the Strongsville Holiday Inn, filling the main ballroom with a bevy of spooky collectibles and films you won't find anywhere else. And sure enough, the event, voted Best Horror Convention for Scene's Best Of in 2005, is back in action this weekend.
Low-budget scary movie fans will appreciate that the 17th annual event is once again bringing in stars of classic horror and sci-fi films for panels and autographs.
And of course, there are tons of blood-filled movies to watch. This year's film and DVD screenings include such incredible titles as:
I Was a Teenage Werewolf, 99 and 44/100% Dead, Microwave Massacre, Gay For Pray: the Erotic Adventures of Jesus and
Hobo With a Trash Can. Plus, expect to see episodes from the Little Rascals and Three Stooges TV shows.
Feel free to get creative dressing up for this three-day extravaganza. Cost is $50 for Friday through Sunday, and single tickets range from $15 to $25.
With more than 60 hours worth of programming, there's a ton of horror-filled moments to choose from. Check out the whole schedule right
