Regal Entertainment Group’s new Great Northern Mall Stadium 10 & RPX in North Olmsted is set to open next week just in time for the busy holiday film release schedule. On Sunday, it hosts an invite-only media preview and then has special screenings that will be open to the public during the early part of the week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the theater will feature $2 movies, popcorn and soft drinks — the proceeds will benefit local charities. Monday, the theater will show Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life and Wizard of OZ 3-D. Tuesday, it will screen Croods, Planes 3-D and Smurfs. And Wednesday’s line-up includes Iron Man 3, Kickass 2 and Wolverine 3-D. For Thursday’s official grand opening, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaugh is on the docket. As a bonus, anyone with a Regal Crown Club card will receive free popcorn and soft drinks with each paid admission from Thursday, Dec. 12 through Thursday, Dec. 19.

  1. yeah, but does it have those Barcolounger style seats that give you handjobs and have a built-in latrine?

  2. Will Brandon Weeden be making personal appearances during this gala? Watching him flip autographed photos to the fans would be worth a trip to the place.
