After putting its new self-titled album on Spotify for one week, the local metal act Vultan has garnered more than 120,000 streams.

The group recorded the album during quarantine, and it describes the release as “a Motley Crue/Metallica/COC/White Zombie/Nickelback kinda thing.”

Vultan will celebrate the album’s release at a show that also features Blacktop Mojo on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the Winchester Tavern.

Tickets cost $15 advance, $20 day of show.
