Collective Soul, the rock act that had a big hit in the ’90s with “Shine,” will hit the road this summer to celebrate its 25th anniversary, and the group will team up with Gin Blossoms for the tour.

That jaunt will bring the acts to MGM Northfield Park on June 11.

“We are thrilled to be touring with Gin Blossoms celebrating our 25th anniversary,” says singer-guitarist Ed Roland in a press release. “Excited to be on the road with friends and our new music!”

“Collective Soul is one of the most consistent bands of our generation; they rock, and girls dig ’em,” adds Gin Blossoms singer-guitarist Robin Wilson. “I’ve been hoping to tour with them for years. It’s gonna be a great summer.”

The bands will offer their own VIP packages, which include band meet-and-greets, exclusive merchandise and much more. All VIP packages will be available starting at 10 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday.
