Memento (Lionsgate)
Inception was a flawless merging of the two sides of director Christopher Nolan: the action-hero side (which he perfected in The Dark Knight) and the mind-fucking side, which he first nailed in 2000's Memento. The 10th-anniversary Blu-ray of his breakthrough movie centers on an insurance investigator who can't remember things, like who killed his wife. So he tattoos clues on his body. But the cool part is Nolan's telling of the story in two sections: one works forward, the other unspools in reverse. They come together in an awe-inspiring piece of storytelling and filmmaking. Extras include a documentary, commentary by Nolan, and a tattoo gallery.
Due Date (Warner) – Robert Downey Jr. is good as straight man to Zach Galifianakis' spazzy aspiring actor in this road comedy by the director of The Hangover. The pair meets lots of crazy movie characters along the way, but it's the stars' scenes together that drive this occasionally funny trip.
Get Low (Sony) – Robert Duvall, still very much alive, wants to throw a wake for himself, and funeral-home owner Bill Murray helps out in this indie hit. The small-town quirks are piled on in this charming movie, which is actually based on a true story. Extras include a few behind-the-scene docs.
Mesrine: Killer Instinct (Music Box) — Vincent Cassel, who plays Natalie Portman's sorta-slimy artistic director in Black Swan, stars as France's Public Enemy No. 1 in the first half of this two-part saga. It's more biopic than gangster pic, but there's still plenty of blood and bullets onscreen.
