Now, the act has just released a music video for the new single, “Caught Out in the Rain.”
“I did the video with Global.Locals,” says Broken Keys’ Tommy Sheridan. “I had a colorful, psychedelic vision for it, and Merrick from Global.Locals worked really closely with me on getting exactly what I wanted while at the same time really putting his touch on it. I’m really happy with how the three individual band members aspect came out, and the wardrobe is perfect for what I was aiming for.”
Sheridan’s also just announced that he’ll release the band’s latest endeavor, Distant Mood, on Friday.
“The creative process behind this album was a different approach than I had ever taken with music before,” he says. “Every song on here was written starting with the keyboard parts first and then built from there. The first song written for the album was the title track, and as soon as I completed, it I felt like I was on to something.”
To celebrate the album’s release, a listening party takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at PM Threads (10011 Lorain Ave.).
