After cutting his teeth in musical theater, MiG Ayesa made a splash on RockStar: INXS, belting out Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Now leading his own band, he’s performing radio-friendly rock that’s just as ambitious, but less bombastic, like the power ballad “You and I.” He’s still good for some classic-rock covers — a mellow, unplugged piano-power take on Frampton’s “Baby I Love Your Way” is make-out music for the TSO crowd.
