Local indie rockers the Modern Electric have just issued “Slow-Motion Jeans,” a split digital single with alt-country rockers Clem Snide. Clem Snide’s B-side track is a beautifully recorded acoustic cover of the group’s jittery indie pop song. We have the premiere of the music video here. “Slow-Motion Jeans” will be on the band’s forthcoming studio effort, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which is produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon, White Rabbits, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead). The album is due out June 28.
