Why a Nipple Party? “Because everybody’s got two,” says host Xela, one of the few masters-of-ceremony who could assemble such an eclectic happening. A multimedia festival of rock and art, this double-decker bash spills over both floors of the Grog Shop. Xela’s 3io rock band headlines an upstairs rock show with jam band Caribou Foot and rock-country cowboys the Jack Fords. And downstairs at the B-Side Liquor lounge, members of arts collective the Scribe Tribe are representing, including DJ Se7en, poet Carla Thompson, hip-hop group Dark Starz, and old-school graff titan Sano (pictured). It’s not a party — it’s a carnival.
