What is Ozzy now, 100 or something? You’d think the old coot would call it a career, rather than further tarnish his legacy. But as with most icons past their prime, he just doesn’t know when to say when. He’s clearly saddled by idiots; why else would he choose to whore himself out on MTV? But even if someone did have the stones to attempt to dissuade him, Ozzy’s never needed anyone’s validation. And he doesn’t need it now, a point he makes clear on “I Don’t Want to Stop”: “I don’t know what they’re talking about/I’m making my own decisions/This thing that I found ain’t gonna bring me down/I’m like a junkie without an addiction.” In fact, on Black Rain, he sounds more invigorated than he has in years. Granted, there are few surprises and even fewer decent tunes, but the Oz can still sing his ass off.

    I didn’t know where else to write to, so I hope u get this “mail” somehow.
    I have deep respect for u and all the things u’ve done for ur family. If I could i’d send u to a holliday with spa, massage (don’t know the word for it) with NO ONE ELSE than u. If anyone is rewarded the best title as a MOM, it’s U! U’ve handled it well during all the dramatic ways ur life has lead u.
    I’m going myself to get my left chest removed and “rebuild” with plastic surgery, cause a “knot” in my chest. The tests didn’t show anything, but they’d like to remove it anyway. I can only dream of what thoughts went through your head. I’m a single mom with 2 sons. One of ’em has ADHD and has to get medicin in a gouple of month. I struggle every day to keep the day workin’ and I must say U just inspire me. I know the serie is some acting and some for real, but the idea in it is good. U have followed your own kids through hell and back and I would do the same. I am greatfull for having them, dispite our daily arguing. (They are only 5 years and 17 month)
    I never had a mom to look up to (She’s alive, but we’ve cut “bonds”, due a familytragigy she would’t accept, She made me choose between my father and her…. U guess the rest)But I look up to you and I hope to be just as strong as you, someday. U have adorable kids and u’ve turned to look like a butterfly. (I didn’t wanna sound crazy or something else…)
    So now U know… U r my favorite mom and I know I’m not the only one who said this, but it feels great to say it to the person. As my motto says: If U smile to someone, mayby they’ll smile back someday.
