A Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Steve Winwood has had a remarkable career.

A member of the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and Go, Winwood, who’s also had a successful solo career, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Traffic in 2004.

Though primarily a vocalist and keyboardist, Winwood plays a bit of everything and is proficient on bass, drums, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, violin and other strings.

Currently touring to support of Greatest Hits Live, a 2CD/4LP set features rare, previously unreleased material that includes contemporary arrangements of the music he created with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic and Blind Faith as well as updated renditions of his solo recordings, Winwood will perform on March 6 at the State Theatre.
