A classic Christmas movie featuring “holiday music, sentimental romance, family-friendly comedy, and colorful holiday spirit,” Santa Fake stars Damian McGinty as Pat Keeley, an undocumented Irish immigrant who happens to look a bit like Santa Claus.

While delivering two suitcases for a New York-based crime boss, Pat winds up in Santa Fe, NM, where he gets a gig as a shopping mall Santa Claus, allowing him to hide from both the authorities and the gangsters he’s trying to evade. The film arrives on DVD and on digital outlets today.

McGinty, who also starred in Glee, has also announced a tour in support of the film’s release. For the shows, he’ll sing some of the songs from the soundtrack and play some of his original tunes as well.

He comes to the Winchester in Lakewood on Sunday. Tickets cost $35 to $100.
