Local singer-songwriter Ryan Humbert writes his own songs but every so often, he likes to pay tribute to some of the classic rockers of yesteryear. On Saturday, Feb. 27, he and his longtime duet partner Emily Bates will bring Walk Right Back: The Music of the Everly Brothers, their Everly Brothers tribute that they stage every so often, to Jilly’s Music Room in Akron.
Backed by a three-piece band, the two will perform nearly 30 of the Everly Brothers classic tunes, including “Bye, Bye Love,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “Wake Up Little Susie” and more. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tckets are $10 to $15. Reservations are recommended.
