The show, produced by Will Arnett (who also supplies BoJack’s voice and comic stylings), draws wonderfully from the sort of droll absurdism that fills out the likes of Archer and Bob’s Burgers. The loose central narrative has to do vaguely with BoJack’s down-on-his-luck middle age, 20 years after starring on a popular sitcom. Animal puns bound.
