During the course of a career that dates back to the ’70s, the British heavy metal band Uriah Heep has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
The band was formed in 1969, and guitarist Mick Box, one of the guys who co-founded the group, remains a member.

The group’s just announced the dates for a 2019 tour that includes a residency at the Kent Stage. The band will perform there on May 9, 10 and 11. The tour supports the group’s 25th studio album, Living the Dream. The Kent Stage concerts are the only shows in the region.

Gold Circle tickets are $64, and reserved seats are $44. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Jeff has been covering the Cleveland music scene for more than 25 years now. On a regular basis, he tries to talk to whatever big acts are coming through town. And if you're in a local band that he needs to hear, email him at jniesel@clevescene.com.
