After relocating from N.Y.C. to L.A., indie-rockers the Ruse are working on their third album with producer Danny Saber, who’s worked with U2, the Rolling Stones, and David Bowie. In tunes like “Sit Down Stare Out” — great title, huh? — the group flows from mild to electric and back. You may have heard the mellow “Contagious Hills Mix” on MTV’s The Hills.
