Cleveland is showing its true colors this weekend, and everyone’s invited to take part.

First up is Dazzle the District, where Playhouse Square’s new chandelier will light up over Euclid Ave. Whether you’ve been an inconvenienced Healthline rider, or a curious part of rush hour traffic, on Friday you’ll finally get to see what’s held up Euclid for the past few weeks.

Next, splash, paint and dance to techno tunes at Life in Color, a massive paint-party-meets-EDM-concert, at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on Saturday. It’s one of the biggest paint parties seen in Cleveland, and this year it’s bringing in national headliners along with locals like Machine Gun Kelly.

Finally, wrap up your weekend with Hollaback, a new Cleveland group that aims to end street harassment. They’ll be partying and chalk-walking the sidewalks with their message of equality.

Enjoy yourself.

  1. How about the Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus performing 4 concerts of Mozart’s Requiem at Severance Hall this weekend starting tonight May 1st.

  2. I hear the lighting ceremony at Playhouse Square was quite the event draw. Too bad the weather wasn’t nicer though.
