Updated: Well, this scary story had a happy, if weird, ending.

Aliya Fleckenstein was found safe and sound… at Tower City. She was last seen at 11 p.m. on Saturday night in North Royalton taking her dog for a walk.

She tells cops she walked all the way to Tower City, which is where she was found Monday afternoon.

Strange.

Scary story out of North Royalton.

Police say 12-year-old Aliya Fleckenstein has been missing since Saturday night.

Aliyah is a special needs kid and took her dog out for a walk around 11 p.m. She has not been seen since.

WOIO has the details.

Aliya is African-American, about 5’2″ and 125 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

She was last seen wearing tan-colored skirt, a mint green hoodie, a pink and white t-shirt and white socks.

The dog, Roxie, is a black collie mix, about 45 pounds with white and brown coat. The dog was on a leash.

  2. What’s wrong with the parents ? I just don’t get it…what were they thinking? That’s too late for any child to be outside !

  3. My prayers goes out to the parents in hopes that they will find her i know this must be a difficult time right now, but i encourage you to hold on and no that god is able to bring her home safe. I’m sorry that you are getting all the hurtful comment at this time, because as a parent to another parent i no its must be really hard for you and your family. Stay prayerful.

  5. I am with officegal 2828 this could of been prevented!! Hellooooo who the hell lets their 12 year old daughter out at 11pm to walk her dog and to top it off she has special needs? This child should of been in bed- sleep! I do not even let my 15 year old child walk anywhere!! People crack me up …hurtful comments, RESPONSIBLE parents DO NOT allow their child outside at 11pm!!

  6. I believe a few years ago her sister Maya also ran away. It is sad, but i think this is a recurring thing within the family
