Don’t be a heartless bastard this holiday season; give one of Cleveland’s rescued animals a warm and loving home. The Cleveland Animal Protective League has dozens of dogs and puppies, as well as cats, hamsters, and other furry creatures just itchin’ to go home with a new human friend. Think about it: Spot could be sprawled out under your Christmas tree by dinnertime.

Here are just a handful of the pups currently up for adoption at the APL. Visit clevelandapl.org for more info or stop in at 729 Willey Ave. in Tremont.

  1. I feel the same way. I wish I could adopt a new friend. I would trade all my Facebook friends for an adorable pitbull or bulldog.

  2. I’m deathly allergic to dogs. Does that still make me a heartless bastard if I don’t adopt one of these rescued dogs?
