It was mentioned by friend of the blog Aaron Goldhammer on The Really Big Show this morning, and here’s evidence from Jon Steiner’s Twitter: The Tribe went all out in selling Strasburg merch during the weekend tilts against the Nationals.

Not only that but they also sell Yankees and Red Sox merch in the team shop as well. Makes me sick.
Relatedly, they extended beer sales through the top half of the 8th yesterday to take advantage of the crowd. Amazing.
Dolan is such a numbnut. Who buys a team they can’t afford to keep competitive? Who raises ticket prices in a bad economy with a team barely better the triple-A Columbus squad? Who sells other teams gear at their team shop cause they need the revenue?
A worthless baseball owner. Please sell the team to the pigeons in Public square. At least they know how to beg with some dignity.
You mean nobody wants a branyon ,valbueno, or Tony Sipp jersey NO REALLY !!! cheap Dolan and shapiro need to keep doing sips if they think we care. Dolan oh king of cheap please sell this team so a owner who cares and doesn’t just think of money fires shapiro and the rest of Dolan’s save him money economic hit squad. You know it’s bad when your radio announcer is the team mvp.
Wow, if Lefraud,I realize this article is pretty old, has done anything it has brought national attention to the plight of the Cleveland fan. If you pulled this in Philly you would have a problem. I’m not necesarilly saying we are better or worse fans, winning is an incredible tonic for well:everything. But back to the topic here if you walked up to the souvenir shop and the main eye level was filled with nothing but opossing attire their would be a problem.
