[image-1]The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office released some statistics today that reveal how bad the opiate overdose crisis is becoming here. Throughout the year so far, 385 people have overdosed and died.
Looking at the late summer and fall, though, it’s getting even worse: 52 people fatally overdosed in September, tying the record for most opiate-related fatalities in one month (set in August). And in October so far, 14 people have overdosed and died. That’s as of Oct. 6.
The deceased run the gamut in terms of age and geography; many have been residents of the suburbs.
Medical Examiner Thomas Gilson notes that at least four deaths this year have been linked to carfentanil, the elephant sedative that has entered heroin supply chains in Ohio and across the country.

It’s time to take the Duterte approach. Slaughter the dealers and addicts.
Duterte is not a model to use in any case. Their problem is meth; not heroin. It is often introduced to people there by sweatshop owners, who press it upon their workers to keep them producing for days and nights on end. Then, when their bodies break down, they are thrown back out into the street, this time , with a drug habit. Meth is not a party drug; it’s a chemical slave-driver; and Duterte’s solution is to kill the victims, not the sweatshop-owning scum who really push the stuff. The owners are his funders, and biggest supporters. So no, it ain’t time to take the lead of a scumbag like Duterte. Sorry to disappoint you.
385 is ore than the homicide rate on the East Side. Lets shine a light on the racial disparity with this issue. Back in the 80’s 90’s Blacks was being called crack heads and predators during that epidemic. Now this Heroin has brought upon a more sympathetic approach by white society. This country is a piece of shit.
