Calling all ice cream eaters: Sweet Moses Treats in the trendy neighborhood of Gordon Square has started the first ice cream challenge in Northeast Ohio. They have ceremoniously named it the Terminal Tower Sundae Challenge. I was lucky enough to be the first one to take on the challenge, while it was still in its conceptual stages.
The object is to consume a sundae originally made to feed an entire family, featuring very large scoops of homemade ice cream. I was foolish enough to make a run at it on my Channel 19 food segment (link below). While I came tantalizingly close to beating the challenge, I made a fatal mistake in underestimating the density of the ice cream.

I am hopeful that someone will beat this challenge before I go for a rematch in the spring. If you think you’re up for it, check out the rules posted below. And good luck. Winners will get their name on a plaque, a trophy to take home, and bragging rights good for any time of the year.
