An Akron man called the police to report a burglary, and found that justice was served- to him.

Perhaps the police arrived faster than Darren Portis, 45, was expecting. Maybe he forgot that evidence of his illicit activities was on display.

Either way, upon arriving at the scene, police arrested Portis after a line of cocaine was found on top of his microwave.

Police also found marijuana in Portis’ pants pocket and a digital scale in his bedroom.

Portis is facing charges of possession of cocaine, obstructing official business, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
