Think you have what it takes to be the next American Idol? Then pack your bags, and head to Columbus next week for Season XIV’s Ohio auditions.

While the auditions will be held in our state’s center, Scene spoke to an American Idol representative yesterday who is seeking out Cleveland talent.

“We want to know about any Cleveland musicians who would [be a good fit for] American Idol,” he said. “The only requirements are the person must be between the ages of 15 and 28 as of June 1st, 2014.”

The auditions take place on Saturday, July 12 at Capital University. More info is available here.
