Chronicling criminals collared because of footprints in the snow has been among our favorite pastimes of the dark, cold months. We have another entry.

19 Action News Reports:

22-year-old Lex Cole was arrested around 4:30AM Thursday morning.

Police were called to the 4500 block of Center Street after a resident noticed his vehicle had been rummaged through.

Officers responded, saw footprints in the snow and tracked down Cole.

Police say Cole broke into at least 20 vehicles and several garages over the past few months. Bikes, electronics and coins were found at Cole's house.

What happened to his shirt before his mugshot was taken, we are not sure. Though it seems fitting for a guy named Lex Cole to not be wearing a shirt.
