Last last year, it seemed like you couldn’t board a bus in this city without having your phone ping you about yet another attack on an RTA passenger or employee. (See exhibits A, B and C)

But times haven’t entirely changed.

19 Action News reports that one woman crashed out on the Rapid sometime last month and awoke to another woman just straight-up punching her in the head.

The victim offered this seemingly sci-fi quote to the news station: “She thought I was someone else. Thought I stole her identity.”

Thankfully, two gentlemen on the train with her stepped in and shut the attack down. In this case, however, there is no known cell phone video, nor security footage. According to the victim, the cameras on the train were not working.

Ruby Stewart was charged with assault.

  1. Oh, and can we finally make an example of this lady so this stops happening? At least the lady wasn’t attacking the driver, I would cringe whenever I read about another driver getting attacked.
