Tickets went on sale earlier this morning for the Aziz Ansari concert that takes place at 7 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the State Theatre.

A standup comic who had a breakout role in the sit-com Parks and Recreation, Ansari has also received wide acclaim for his Netflix program, Master of None, which debuted three years ago.

Note that he has a strict policy against taking pictures or recording the event. No cellphones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed, and all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show.

Jeff has been covering the Cleveland music scene for more than 25 years now. On a regular basis, he tries to talk to whatever big acts are coming through town. And if you're in a local band that he needs to hear, email him at jniesel@clevescene.com.

  1. whoa, no comment on hows hes disappeared since pulling a Kavanaugh in his home on one of his fans? I feel like if bj had written this story she would have mentioned it. I hope his headliner is Louis CK.

  2. Sexual assault only matters if they’re not a leftist. They excuse it from their own. They continue to keep them famous and promote their careers. See Corey Booker, Keith Ellison, Bill Clinton. Should I list the entertainment personalities? No, you won’t believe it.

  3. His face in this pic looks like a woman just told him he is touching her inappropriately. And he’s like “whaddya mean? I can’t grope you. I’m famous.”
