As the eastern black rhino species is listed as critically endangered, the addition is most welcome. This is the sixth rhino born here in Cleveland.
Since August, the zoo has welcomed a handful of adorable newborn animals, including a giraffe, red pandas and otters. And another female rhino at the zoo is expecting a new calf coming this fall.
As the pair are still bonding, mom and the still-to-be-named baby are not yet on display. But check out the two in action in the video below:
