What goes better with your morning Cheerios than some political polling? On that front, GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has failed to capture any ground in the hearts and minds of Ohioans. This morning, poll palace Quinnipiac University released the latest data for the state before next week’s primary election. Former Senator Rick Santorum still leads the field with 36 percent to Romney’s 29 percent of likely voters — the same results the university tracked in the previous round of data.
Although this doesn’t spell out great things for Romney, you can also look at it this way: Santorum has failed to increase his lead. The latest report also includes a statistic that 45 percent of the individuals polled said they could change their mind by next week.
Santorum tops Romney 38 – 25 percent among men, while women split 34 – 33 percent. Santorum wins 40 – 25 percent among self-identified conservatives and 49 – 19 percent among Tea Party members. Self-identified moderates back Romney 39 – 27 percent.
“A week out, Sen. Rick Santorum remains seven points ahead among Ohio’s likely Republican primary voters. While almost half the voters say they might change their mind, Santorum supporters seem a little surer of their vote,” said Peter A. Brown assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. “What happens in Michigan tomorrow night might have an impact on voters in Ohio’s Republican primary.”

The entire republican party is in a state of confussion. Every candidate who has entered the presidential race has been seen as even more foolish than the ones who have been eliminated. They have all made the same mistakes and it is starting to become more easily seen by the public that 1) They made their number one priority to defeat the current president. For three years the entire party has been saying in public, ‘we don’t care how we get rid of Obama and the liberals, we will get rid of them at any cost.’ and 2) Their number two priority has been in the form of a signed agreement with Grover Norquist to never vote for anything involving taxes that is not first cleared by Norquist and his corporation and the wealthy guys and corporations which he represents. This means that the people have representatives (90% of the republican party signed this contract or Pledge), who will put The Norquist Pledge above the will and needs of the people of the USA.
Here are the biggest mistakes the republican party has made…1) Rooting against the president of the USA and thus the people of the USA..2) Taking The Norquist Pledge more seriously than the pledge to the people of the USA…3) Putting the party above the American people…4) Using money against the people of the USA..5) Fighting against Civil Rights and voting rights…6) Making corporations have more rights than people…7) Seeking to destroy unity and promote separation…8) Judging the poor as the enemy..9) Seeking more control over freedom and freedom of speech through censorship and litigation…10) Held the ecconomy back so that Obama would look worse for this years election.
