Saturday, Aug. 17, the club hosts the fourth-annual Haunted Garage Sale and Hearse Cruise-In in Bay Village. Yes, hearse cruise-in.
Hartz, creator of gothic artwork site Zombie-works.com, tells Scene the inspiration for the event came from his interactions with the Motor City Haunt Club in Detroit, which is hosting its 14th annual Haunted Garage Sale this year.
While it’s unclear exactly how haunted the Cleveland-area event will be, revelers can expect plenty of props, decorations, and costumes, all for “garage sale” prices. Attendees can take a grave look at a hearse or two, while also checking out the Ecto-1 cruiser from Ghostbusters. Food trucks and baked goods will also be on hand.
The party runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Bay Village Community House, located at 303 Cahoon Road.
B.Y.O.H. (bringing your own hearse) is not required.
