A bit of a programming alert: this blog will be silent tomorrow in honor of the holiday. We’ll be trying to keep all fingers and limbs intact, mainly because it’s harder to hold a beer bottle with no thumbs. Also, blood loss tends to put a damper on festivities of any kind.

Be safe out there. Don’t drive drunk. Enjoy the fireworks. And we’ll see you back here Thursday, probably with a story of someone who wasn’t safe, was drunk, set something on fire, or lost a finger or two.

Let new Browns quarterback and savior Brandon Weeden take you into the midweek break. Yes, for those of you who have never seen it before, the picture is real. And yes, Brandon Weeden is awesome.

Go wild, Clevelandia, America.

  1. Still wish they would’ve drafted a stud wide reciever and kept Colt as the starter.
Another year lost (4-12 at best) as Weeden tries to learn the system.

  2. Stud receiver? Who’s that? The consensus was that there were no “stud receivers” available at 22, when they took Weeden.
