Alongside Singapore, Romania, and Chile, BuzzFeed recently named Cleveland as one of the 16 most spectacular places to travel in the world for 2015.
Via BF:
This Midwestern metropolis has a shocking amount to offer, from gorgeous beachfronts on Lake Erie to the unexpected but beautiful Squire’s Castle, to outstanding cultural opportunities such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and city’s brand new Museum of Contemporary Art.
Cleveland is one of three stateside locations that made it into the list.
BuzzFeed isn’t the only pub giving Cleveland an extra dose of love these days. Both Travel + Leisure and Fodor Travel also named the Forest City one of the year’s top travel destinations.

Some good news about Cleveland and our rep gets better!
I don’t think people understand how buzzfeed works, this list really won’t help “our rep get better”
If it’s not bad news, it’s good news. This isn’t a negative article about Cleveland, so i’ll take it as a positive thing, no matter how little it actually helps.
So will people who constantly complain that “they keep trying to make things in Cleveland for tourists” now please stop whining—tourism could be another great industry for this town—besides people across the nation agreeing this is a worthy destination ALREADY, almost all improvements to help tourism are also significant improvements for residents too.
