As the video of Ted Williams, the homeless guy with the golden radio voice, made the internet rounds yesterday, pleas far and wide begged for someone, somewhere to give him a job.

It didn’t take long.

Williams appeared on WNCI 97.9 and during the broadcast a woman claiming to represent the Cavaliers called in and told Williams that the Cavs would give him a free house in Cleveland and a full-time voice-over job with the team. (Audio after the jump; skip to the 6:00 mark.)

Yep. The New York Post also reports that other offers funneled in as Williams became an interwebs sensation.

Vince Grzegorek has been with Scene since 2007 and editor-in-chief since 2012. He previously worked at Discount Drug Mart and Texas Roadhouse.
