There are dog people, and then there are dog people. You know, they’re the ones who dress up their pets, buy them strollers, and feed them scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of doggy Xanax if they’re upset. Whatever kind of dog person you are, the first-ever TAILgate Party for Pets in Chagrin Falls may be for you.

On September 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa will celebrate the 2015 Cleveland Browns season the only way a Pet Hotel & Day Spa knows how: lavishly and with lots of pooches. Food trucks, vendors, sponsors, entertainment, and a viewing area for attendees to watch the game will be set up in the neighboring “Barking Lot,” and the Browns Mascot CHOMPS will even make an appearance at halftime.

There is a requested $5 donation that will go to Lake Humane Society. Dog lovers and Best in Show enthusiasts alike probably won’t want to miss it. As they say, carpe dog-em.
