The show’s storyline basically surrounds an egg (“ovo” means “egg” in Portuguese), and the love story of a “gawky, quirky” insect who finds a “fabulous” ladybug that strikes his fancy, according to the production’s press release. Needless to say, this isn’t a typical love story. There are, however, the typical Cirque du Soleil theatrics, including 50 performers from 12 countries.
The performers will be swinging from the CSU Wolstein Center’s ceiling on a yet-to-be-announced date in 2016. For more information, click here.

There is not a bad seat in the CSU Wolstein Center for these fantastic shows. Several years ago, Cirque du Soleil performed “Alegria” during a multi-date tour stop at the arena.
