Like the clothing company’s motto says, it’s all about “Spreading Cleveland pride one T-shirt at a time.” So it makes sense to bring its gospel of all-things-Northeast Ohio-on-a-shirt to LeBron’s hometown.
“Not only does the new location open up a brand-new customer base for us, but Summit Mall itself holds a very special place in our hearts,” said co-owner Mike Kubinski in a statement. “We grew up in the area, shopping in this mall, and the concept of CLE Clothing was born down the road at Whitey’s in Richfield.”
Founded in 2008 by two dudes with a dream, the company was extremely influential in kick-starting Cleveland’s T-shirt obsession. It now has stores downtown on East Fourth Street, at Uptown on Euclid and at Crocker Park, on top of its online store.
The company is shooting for a full launch of the new location by summer.
