The Western Reserve Historical Society is throwing its annual verbal appraising event this weekend, and in efforts to unearth a wider variety of historical memorabilia and collectibles, they’ve named this year’s theme “Man Cave Trash or Treasure.”
Professional appraisers will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 to orally evaluate potentially valuable items such as coins, stamps, sports relics, comics, among other things. With hundreds of avid collectors in attendance — who knows — you could get an offer for your goods on the spot.
Folks interested in having items appraised can register in advance and should expect to pay $5 per item (up to five) or $25 per collection (up to two), as well as admission to the event.
