unfortunately, this is very true. there were several witnesses.
I was on the truck helping out. It definitely is 100% accurate.
Cops aren’t held accountable to any standard of courtesy at all. They really don’t feel that they have to be helpful, much less polite… or even just plain decent.
All the more reason to carry video enabled devices.
Chris- I suggest you install a cheap video camera on the truck.
Could save you a lot of hassle. Or not.
But, that behaviour, if caught on tape, would land that cop 30 days off with no pay. If I were the Sgt…
I’ll never understand why cops are allowed to use foul and vulgar language like that. I’m no prude, I use the F-word all the time, but that kind of language from a cop is unnecesary and incindiary. Certainly; it’s no way to diffuse a situation or enlist a citizen’s cooperation.
Anyone know if there are ANY standards in place at all to govern this?
I can see this happening…Cleveland Cops have such an above the law attitude and an instance like this is certainly believable. Someone made mention of video capture…
So install some cameras….My question is did he get a badge number?
