The amount of Halloween celebrations in Northeast Ohio can be overwhelming for even the most hardcore of drinkers. But this October, expect at least one more costume-filled adult event in the form of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s first Brew at the Zoo.

Going down Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., beer lovers can expect plenty of local craft brews as well as live music and plenty of time to check out the animals. Participating breweries include: Fat Head’s Brewery, Market Garden Brewery, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Terrestrial Brewing Company and Butcher and the Brewer.

General admission is $50, VIP is $80 and designated drivers can get in for $30. Prices do go up at the end of September. Tickets for the event can be found on the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo website. Note that the popular Boo at the Zoo event, which is family-friendly, returns each weekend in October.

This event is not to be confused with the zoo’s previous Zoo Clues & Brews scavenger hunt.
